His Highness Sheikh Khalifa School, Rahim Yar Khan, is a state-of- the art institution. It aims to stand out from the run of the mill schools by providing your child with a global education that will enable her/him to integrate fully into the diverse knowledge-based economy of the future. We see today’s child as the inheritor of a world that will be driven by forces more complex and demanding. Mere academic knowledge imbibed through classrooms will not be sufficient to tackle the challenges. The children of today will inherit a very competitive world where sheer curriculum based learning will not be sufficient; they would need to acquire skills, a creative thought process and excellent communication skills to enable them find their niche in the world, not just in their community. They need to be imbibed with qualities of heart, mind and soul that would make them stand out in a crowd. In short, they would need to have qualities of leadership, based on Wisdom, Integrity and Knowledge. We aim to produce leaders with a visionary approach, not mere crowd-pullers who have dotted the landscape of this great land and brought it to a state where the pursuit of Knowledge has become limited to the privileged few. The child of the future cannot afford to become a part of a useless learning process and be exposed to pedagogues who fill his brain with meaningless facts but refuse to challenge his intellectual abilities. In modern teaching it is more important to be a mentor, guiding the students to take charge of their learning process rather than drilling them in numbers, information and facts that he or she cannot question. The Spirit of Enquiry has to be ignited, not suppressed. Our vision encompasses the global world view. The future belongs to those who can fully assimilate that science, technology and knowledge based economies are creating a world sans frontiers. The communication barriers have been pulled down and the domains of knowledge now go beyond any borders. Assimilation, acceptance and understanding of other cultures, bio-diversities and beliefs will not merely help our children to become global leaders but also help Pakistan to become the nation that it was carved out to be by its Founding Fathers
